$25 hourly Schedule: Monday-Friday ( 6am-2pm )
Plus overtime when needed

General Description: As the Maintenance Technician you are responsible for the repair and maintenance of all production equipment as well as general facility maintenance. This includes coordination and execution of preventative maintenance programs (PMs), performing troubleshooting and emergency maintenance, and project coordination for equipment and facility related initiatives. As the Maintenance Technician you will also be assigned various responsibilities within ourEnvironmental, Health, and Safety Program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Initiate, coordinate, and execute daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance programs (PMs) on industrial, mechanical, and pneumatic machinery. Equipmentmaintained includes flexographic presses, rewind machines, and other production relatedequipment. • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment malfunctions/breakdowns (including PLC’s) in order to minimize downtime of machines utilizing blueprint schematics,manufacturer specifications and manuals. • Maintain and repair components on systems such as bearings, gear clutches, couplings, belted and shafted drives, gearboxes, and compressors, pneumatic systems, AC/DC motor chilled water systems and related controls. • Regularly assess all equipment and facilities and make recommendations for continuousimprovement. • Document required maintenance and performance of PMs and track reasons fordowntime. • Coordinate equipment and / or facility related special projects as assigned. • Maintain inventory of spare parts in an organized and efficient fashion. • Coordinate with team regarding OSHA and building code requirements. Support thefacility with regard to required safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures. • Additional duties as required.
Requirements: Education and Experience: • High School Diploma or GED required. Some college or trade school highly desired. • Must have at least 2 years of work experience in equipment maintenance to include electrical experience. • Electrical certifications or license is a plus. • Project management experience is a plus.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Must have working knowledge of PLC’s and basic electrical skills. • Proficient with industrial, mechanical and pneumatic machinery. • Working knowledge of OSHA, building codes, or safety practices is preferred. • Demonstrated ability to follow a preventative maintenance program. • Be safety conscious and perform all duties with the highest level of safety awareness andpractice. • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. • Able to follow policies and procedures (SOPs, Lock-out/Tag-out) and maintain records. • Able to prioritize tasks. • Be proactive and organized with excellent problem-solving abilities. • Proficient utilizing various power and hand tools. • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, including email and able to learn thecompany’s software program in order to monitor equipment and production.
Supervisory Responsibilities: • None
Training Requirements: • Willing to attend required training courses or sessions related to the job as assigned.
Physical Demands: • Occasional Lifting (up to 50 lbs independently and up to 75 lbs with assistance). • Constant walking, standing, crouching, climbing and other repetitive tasks in theperformance of maintenance work. • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and physical and subject to random drugscreening.
Work Environment: • Regular exposure to dust and noise in the production environment. • Warehouse / Production area temperatures may be influenced by outside temperatures.
Personal Protective Equipment: • Safety toe shoes are required. • Safety glasses are recommended when working on machinery or other potentiallyhazardous equipment.
