Camera QC Technician

Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $20-$24 hourly
Schedule: Monday – Thursday 9 am-6 pm / Friday 9 am – 2 pm (summer) 9 am – 1 pm (winter)
Job Overview:
The Camera Quality Control Technician is responsible for testing all types of cameras and other photographic equipment. Some specific job duties might include disassembling and inspecting camera equipment to determine the problem, cleaning and calibrating cameras and broken parts and testing cameras for performance. Good understanding of the different components that make up a camera, including lenses, shutters, viewfinders and lens mounts. Able to read camera instructions and specifications to find and solve technical problems. Must have impeccable report-writing and verbal communication abilities.
Qualifications:
• High diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Experience in testing electronic equipment (Photo, Video, A/V, Lighting, Home and Portable entertainment)
• Ability to quickly determine or analyze problem(s) and be able to report on their findings, with explanations and photographs, etc.
• Customer care skills
• Analytical thinking and abilities.
• Report writing and document analysis skills.
• Proficient in MS Office
