Contract to Hire

Schedule – Monday-Friday - 8 am-5 pm plus weekend (if needed)
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate forklift trucks (Toyota 5K) to move materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers using forklift trucks
- Secure and stabilize materials on pallets to prevent them from falling or shifting during transport
- Inspect forklift trucks before each shift to ensure they are in proper working order
- Maintain accurate records of materials moved and ensure inventory accuracy
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisor to coordinate and prioritize the movement of materials
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe and clean working environment
Requirements
- Valid forklift operator certification, a plus
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or similar setting
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Good communication and teamwork skills
