Operations Coordinator

Prostaff Workforce Solutions is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to lead our second shift and third shift and ensure smooth, efficient operations throughout the night.

Direct Hire
2nd shift – 4 pm – 12 am
3rd shift - 10:30 pm – 7 am
Proficiency in English and Spanish

Position Summary:
As the Overnight Operations Coordinator, you will oversee and manage a team of workers during the 2nd/3rd shift. Your role is crucial in ensuring operational efficiency, managing payroll and attendance, addressing shift issues, and providing timely updates. You will be the key point of contact for all overnight operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and support the overnight team, ensuring high productivity and adherence to operational standards.
  • Monitor and coordinate daily operations to maintain efficiency and resolve any issues that arise during the shift.
  • Track and manage employee time and attendance, including monitoring breaks, overtime, and absences to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Verify timesheets, address discrepancies, and collaborate with the payroll department to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Handle and resolve shift-related issues, such as staffing shortages, equipment malfunctions, or any operational challenges that arise.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management on shift performance, incidents, and recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols and regulatory requirements are followed.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a coordinator role, preferably in a shift-based or operations environment.
  • Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to handle unexpected issues and make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work overnight shifts and flexibility to adjust scheduling as needed.
