Tradeshow & Conference Coordinator

Job Summary:
The coordinator will report to the Manager, Tradeshows and Conferences. Attention to detail is crucial for this fast-moving position.
  • Handle small to large scale conferences for numerous business units.
  • Follow company procedures, guidelines and standards when supporting conference activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and lead conversations on event strategy and design. Act as the liaison between the event owners, association vendors, and third-party vendors.
  • Serve as a though leader who can provide innovative ideas and identify best practices that can be leveraged across multiple events.
  • Work with the travel team lead when it comes to securing hotel reservation room blocks.
  • Keep internal teams be supported apprised of details for each meeting.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in either Business or Communications
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the conference planning industry
  • Meeting planning experience is required
  • Able to work both as part of a team and independently and demonstrate initiative.
  • Must be a team player, proactive, enthusiastic, and positive
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and attention to detail in crucial
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communications and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, TEAMS, Powerpoint
  • Strong collaboration, problem solving and research skills
