Contract
Pay Rate: $28-29/hr
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm with possible overtime

As a Welder, you will work with a variety of materials, performing MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques to fabricate and repair metal components. This role requires a high level of skill and attention to detail to ensure the quality and integrity of the final products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weld metal components using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Inspect materials and completed welds for defects, ensuring the work meets safety and quality standards.
• Operate welding machines and tools, ensuring proper setup and safety protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment.
• Fabricate parts, repair metal structures, and work on custom projects as required.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet client specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a welding program or apprenticeship is preferred.
• Welder certification, a plus
• Proven experience as a Welder.
• Proven experience in welding aluminum frames. 
• Ability to weld with MIG, TIG, and Stick methods.
• Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, and welding schematics.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in welding.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, etc.).
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.
