Flexible Schedule: Monday-Wednesday OR Monday-Thursday, with flexible hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Handle Shelby/Bloomerang software questions and entries, providing support for system-related issues and maintaining accurate data.
- Reconcile contributions, ensuring all donations and payments are correctly tracked and recorded.
- Process Positive Pay transactions to prevent fraud and ensure accurate reporting.
- Manage the process of releasing restrictions/tags on transactions and accounts as needed.
- Review and update check logs, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
- Reconcile credit card statements, track and distribute reports as necessary to the appropriate departments.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required;
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable, accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Shelby/Bloomerang is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
