We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to support our client’s warehouse operations in Port Reading, New Jersey 07064. If interested, we would be excited to connect and discuss this opportunity in more detail.

Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $20/hr (plus shift differential on 2nd shift)
Shifts: Monday – Friday - 1^st shift – 6 am - 2:30 pm
2^nd shift – 2 pm - 10:30 pm

Primary Responsibilities:

• Check trucks in and out of the facility
• Validate seals on incoming and outgoing trucks
• Update records in the Yard Management System (YMS)
• Direct gate traffic and ensure efficient vehicle flow

Once trained, additional responsibilities may include:

• Using SCALE and SAP systems for Shipping & Receiving
• Processing load data in internal systems
• Supporting general clerical and administrative warehouse tasks

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a clerical role within a warehouse or logistics environment
• Experience operating a forklift is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
• Familiarity with systems like SAP, SCALE, or Yard Management Systems (YMS) is a plus
• Must be comfortable working in both indoor warehouse environments and outdoor truck yard settings, in varying weather conditions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates customer service skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
