Loader/Runner - Sitdown Forklift Experience Needed

Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $18-$21/hr
Shifts: Monday – Friday - 1st shift – 6 am - 2:30 pm
2nd shift – 1:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $18-$21/hr

Primary Responsibilities
- Use sit-down forklift and electric double pallet jack equipment to move pallets to the scheduled shipping door.
- Move pallets from the inbound dock door to designated locations inside the warehouse.
- Locate products as requested in work orders.
- Change over pallets for picking and visually inspect items for damages or flaws, documenting and reporting any issues to the lead or supervisor.
- Ensure all pallets entering the warehouse or dock doors are properly wrapped.
- Wrap pallets using a wrap machine based on location.
- Invert pallets using a pallet inverter as needed.
- Operate other machinery and material handling equipment as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent required
- Hands-on experience operating a sit-down forklift and double electric pallet jack in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Basic math skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
- Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
