Sanitation Associate
Piscataway, New Jersey · ManufacturingOur client is seeking a Sanitation Associate to support cleanliness, safety, and efficiency within their facility in Piscataway, NJ. This hands-on role is ideal for a dependable individual with experience in sanitation, janitorial, or warehouse environments who takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards.

Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $17/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday 11am-7:30pm
7:30pm – 4am
Duties & Responsitbilities:
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of manufacturing equipment according to SQF and other certification requirements
• Cleaning duties include scrubbing and handling both small and large machine parts, storage containers, floors, production, or food contact surfaces
• Must follow safety procedures when using chemicals and dilute cleaning agents appropriately
• Proper disposal of garbage
• Maintaining lunchroom and restroom facilities
• Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s)
• All other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of related work experience
• Ability to work in extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.)
• Ability to frequently lift 50lbs
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
