Our client in Miami Beach is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of events and programs. Events are central to the organization’s mission, and this role plays a key part in delivering engaging, high-quality experiences for members, partners, and the broader community.
Full Time On-Site Direct Hire Schedule: Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute events and programs from conception through implementation
Manage all aspects of event logistics, including timelines, vendors, venues, contracts, budgets, and on-site execution
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, partners, vendors, and stakeholders, including consistent follow-up and communication
Draft, review, and manage event contracts and agreements
Track event details to ensure deadlines, deliverables, and expectations are met
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure events align with organizational goals
Maintain accurate records, schedules, and documentation for all events and programs
Support creative event concepts while maintaining strong organizational structure
Manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously with a high level of accuracy and professionalism
Qualifications
Proven experience in event planning, programs, or a related field
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with contracts, vendors, and client communications
Creative thinker with the ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
Experience working with business organizations, chambers of commerce, or nonprofits
Familiarity with event budgeting and reporting
Comfort working in a deadline-driven, event-heavy environment
