A growing third-party logistics (3PL) company in South River, NJ is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office and logistics operations. If you feel you’re a good fit, we’d be happy to connect and discuss this opportunity further.
Contract Pay Rate: $21/hr Schedule: 8 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
Answer and route phone calls and emails from clients, carriers, and vendors
Schedule appointments and coordinate with operations and warehouse staff
Prepare and organize shipping, receiving, and billing documentation
Perform data entry related to orders, inventory, and shipments
Assist with invoicing, billing, and basic accounts receivable tasks
Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
Order office supplies and assist with general office management
Provide administrative support to management and operations teams
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Previous administrative experience (logistics, transportation, or warehouse environment a plus)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Comfortable working with data, paperwork, and deadlines
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, detail-oriented, and professional
