Shipping & Order Processing Associate
South River, New Jersey · Transportation/LogisticsOur client is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Order Processing Associate to support their warehouse and order fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with shipping systems, order entry, and working in a warehouse or assembly environment. This role involves processing incoming orders, preparing shipments, and assisting with kitting and assembly tasks. Long-term Contract

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and enter customer orders received through EDI systems
- Prepare shipments using UPS and FedEx shipping systems
- Understand kitting and assembly line processes to support shipping and order processing
- Ensure accurate order fulfillment and shipping documentation
- Communicate with internal teams and customers via email (Outlook)
- Maintain records using Microsoft Excel and Word
- Assist with general warehouse and shipping processes
Qualifications:
- Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping systems
- Experience with order entry and EDI orders
- Familiarity with kitting and assembly line procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Excel spreadsheets; knowledge of formulas is a plus
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus; training will be provided if needed
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency
