Food Warehouse Associate

In this role, you’ll play a key part in fulfilling customer orders, supporting daily warehouse operations, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Pick, wrap, pack, and label online orders for customers across the U.S.
- Prepare and process wholesale shipments for chefs, stores, and restaurants
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, washing dishes, and cleaning both inside and outside areas (kitchen and bathrooms)
- Conduct inventory checks and maintain accurate product counts
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with inbound shipments from Italy
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Use manual pallet jacks and other equipment to move materials as needed
- Punctual, reliable, and committed to high-quality work
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day (pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling, reaching)
- Prior cleaning experience required
- Ability to work without phone use or earphones during shifts
- Strong communication skills (listening, speaking, and writing)
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Must live within 30 minutes of the Bronx warehouse and be available for in-person work
