Fulfillment & Returns Supervisor

We are seeking a hands-on operations leader to oversee daily e-commerce fulfillment and reverse logistics activities within a fast-paced distribution environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless order processing, accurate inventory management, and efficient handling of returned merchandise across online, retail, and wholesale channels.
The ideal candidate thrives on the warehouse floor, leads by example, and is equally comfortable managing systems, reporting metrics, and coordinating cross-functional communication. This is a highly visible role that directly impacts customer experience, operational efficiency, and overall distribution performance.

Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: DoE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily picking, packing, and shipping operations to ensure accuracy and on-time performance
  • Oversee return processing, product inspection, and reintegration of inventory
  • Provide real-time coaching and direction to warehouse associates
  • Monitor workflow efficiency and adjust labor allocation between outbound and returns as needed
  • Enforce safety standards and adherence to company procedures
  • Resolve operational challenges including order discrepancies, damages, and carrier-related issues
  • Conduct quality control checks to maintain service standards
  • Maintain accurate inventory data within WMS and ERP systems
  • Track and analyze KPIs such as productivity, return rates, and processing cycle times
  • Prepare performance reports and operational summaries
  • Assist with workforce scheduling and staffing coordination
  • Collaborate with customer service and sales teams regarding order inquiries and returns
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies
  • Ensure documentation compliance and process accuracy

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in an omnichannel distribution or warehouse environment (retail or fashion experience preferred)
  • Experience supervising warehouse teams in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong working knowledge of WMS and ERP systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel experience preferred)
  • Solid understanding of fulfillment workflows, reverse logistics, and inventory control
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Full-time schedule (40 hours/week) with regular, reliable attendance
