Full-time Onsite Direct Hire Pay Rate: $60K+/yr (DoE) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
JOB SUMMARY Will increase company profitability and improve customer service by ensuring that warehouse and shipping operations are executed in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. Complies and ensures compliance with company policies and OSHA, DOT, and applicable regulations. Monitors receiving, storage, and distribution of all items received, seeking a smooth, consistent operation. The warehouse manager is also tasked with improving operational efficiency, by careful deployment of personnel and resources to enhance overall warehouse performance.

Supervise and schedule warehouse and delivery staff to ensure safe and efficient operation of all warehouse functions.
Supervise and schedule maintenance of company equipment and delivery vehicles; develops a maintenance program, both preventive and corrective.
Responsible for training, developing, managing, and leading operations personnel.
Develops and executes plans for continuous improvement.
Foster and maintain a professional and calm work environment within the warehouse.
Manage warehouse operations to exceed expectation for productivity, daily workflow, product availability, and accuracy.
Ensure staff receive merchandise storing in an efficient and economical manner while maintaining required records in conformance with company policies.
Supervise the proper routing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment and delivery per customer instructions.
Coordinate actions with functional areas (i.e., Purchasing, Sales) to improve the effective and efficient operation of the entire Supply Chain, from vendor manufacturer to Company facilities to the final customer. This includes inter-branch transfers.
Evaluates and recommends purchases of warehouse equipment and support services; keep abreast of new methods and products for improved material handling and shipping.
Resolve discrepancies with Accounting and Purchasing regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiving reports. Monitors flow of paperwork from Shipping and Receiving to ensure safe keeping and recording for timely data entry.
Review and maintain departmental documentation regarding safety, security, and quality.
Develop and analyze reports and new policies, procedures, and new methods that improve efficiency; communicate results to Management.
Hire, train, and supervise an operations staff of approximately 10 employees.

WORK ENVIRONMENT Job operates in both an office, and the warehouse yard. Role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, 2-way radio, copy, and fax machines.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education – High School Diploma/ GED required (bachelor’s degree preferred).
Supervisory experience required.
Knowledgeable of logistics, including carriers, shipping policies, and procedures.
Working knowledge of DOT and FDOT rules and regulations.
Competency in hiring, developing, and evaluating performance.
Knowledge of company products and wholesale distribution practices.
