Secaucus, New Jersey · Transportation/LogisticsWe are hiring a Shipping Clerk for a growing apparel company in the fashion industry. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering steady weekday hours, hands-on training, and the potential for long-term employment.
The Shipping Clerk will support daily warehouse and shipping operations, including order preparation, packing, labeling, inventory tracking, and shipment documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Previous warehouse or logistics experience is helpful, but training will be provided.
Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: 21/hr
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm

Key Responsibilities
- Order Preparation: Pull, pack, seal, and label outgoing shipments accurately according to company and carrier standards.
- Documentation: Prepare necessary paperwork such as bills of lading, work orders, and shipping manifests.
- Inventory Tracking: Update shipping logs and inventory management systems to reflect outgoing stock.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies before they leave the facility.
- Coordination: Communicate with logistics coordinators, freight drivers, and warehouse staff to ensure on-time delivery.
- Customer Service: Assist in resolving issues regarding missing, damaged, or delayed shipments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Warehouse, shipping, logistics, or data entry experience preferred
- Ability to lift packages and stand for extended periods
- Familiarity with barcode scanners and shipping systems preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
