Job Overview
The Shipping & Logistics Assistant will support daily shipping operations, including generating domestic shipping labels, organizing packages, and coordinating daily carrier pickups. The ideal candidate is comfortable using a computer, quick to learn internal systems, and able to handle packages of varying sizes.
Responsibilities
- Generate domestic UPS shipping labels using the company's internal system
- Match shipping labels and tracking numbers to internal reference numbers
- Locate, label, and organize packages for daily UPS collections
- Move and prepare packages ranging from small boxes to larger crates
- Maintain accuracy when processing shipments and tracking information
- Assist with general warehouse and shipping-related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior shipping, logistics, warehouse, or fulfillment experience
- Basic computer and laptop skills
- Ability to learn and navigate internal software systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to safely lift and move packages weighing up to 40–50 lbs
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
