Our client is a 49-year-old, privately held electronics product development and manufacturing company based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The company has grown from a single engineer-entrepreneur founder to a working family of nearly 300.
The company designs, manufactures, and sells products worldwide, including police traffic radar, sports radar devices, Lidar speed measurement devices, speed sensors, and mobile Traffic Management speed regulation and Public Safety roadway communication signs.
The company has developed custom applications using QM and PICK (MultiValue) to operate every facet of its business since 1995.

Position Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced, honest, mature, and career-oriented PICK/MultiValue Programmer Lead developer using MultiValue (Open QM). This position will be located at the company's headquarters in Richardson, TX.
Reporting to the Programming/Applications Manager, the PICK/MultiValue Programmer Lead will maintain and develop a variety of applications for use by in-house departments to increase efficiency.
The successful candidate will help manage and lead projects within a small Application Development Team and maintain and expand applications across departments, including:

- Working at a small company; comfortable "wearing multiple hats"
- Linux
- Web Development
- PHP/HTML5
- JSON
- JavaScript
- Python
- Systems administration for Linux and OpenQM
Requirements
- Software development project management experience
- Strong communication skills
- Education: AA/AS (2-year) or BA/BS (4-year) required
