ProStaff Solutions are looking for Machine Operators to work for a company in Belleville, NJ.
Pay Rate: $14/hr
Shift: 12:30 pm - 9 pm (plus overtime when required) Will have training on 1st shift Must be Bilingual - Spanish/English
Weight specified ingredients using company formulas to produce WIPs and finished products that meet all company standards (quality, safety, productivity).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Beginning of shift – Prepare work station
Setup and sanitize production line / equipment (pasteurizer, holding tank, freezer, conveyor …).
Sanitize thermometer for use in raw materials.
Verify (with Supervisor) formula / recipe including item code and total batches needed of each recipe.
Input parameters in the pasteurizer / freezer. Check programs as directed, ensuring they are consistent with product requirements.
Weigh ingredients according to formula using proper weighing techniques. Place measured ingredients into mixing / holding tank and dispense properly. Use sensory observations to spot potential quality issues and inform supervisor accordingly.
Keep written batch records as well as temperatures of raw materials where necessary. This information must be recorded for all batches mixed.
Maintain pasteurizer / freezer / product parameters according to posted standards. Get approval from Production Supervisor if you think adjustments to some parameters may be needed.
Maintain production flow between freezer and production line.
Promptly report all mechanical problems.
When mixing is complete, weigh all leftover ingredients / WIPs and mark on boxes, bags or pails (in KG) quantity remaining. [Notify Material Handler who will remove ingredients no longer needed at the mixing station.] *
Computer skills (record keeping, reading directions and formulas).
Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager. Support the management team by attending meetings and provide insights to upper management when there are challenges in any area of operations.
1-2 years of experience in food manufacturing with Baking experience
