Our client is one of the leading integrator of purpose-built appliances and application platforms for software developers and OEMs serving storage, security and communications markets worldwide. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining a territory customer prospect list.
  • Developing sales execution plans and customer relationships in an assigned territory and drive the attainment of assigned sales quota.
  • Develop and grow relationships with OEM partners for leads and joint marketing/sales activities.
  • Position the Company and products in the territory via: presentations, proposal responses, and/or business case solutions demonstrating a thorough understanding and through established relationships with prospects/customers located in assigned territory.
  • Develop lead generation campaigns specific for their territory such as phone calling and email campaigns to drive pipeline.
  • Work with the tools provided to generate prospect engagements and meetings to move pipeline through the sales funnel.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of our partnership value and services capabilities and how that fits into the prospect/customer business model.
  • Be able to very effectively present that to the prospect and point out how that addresses and fixes their current pain points.
  • Work directly with our sales engineers to develop specific proposals to address customers pain points and issues.
  • Engage internal resources as required to respond to prospect/customer proposals.
  • Drive Design Wins through the on-boarding process into revenue as quickly as possible.
  • Provide accurate timely booking forecasts (Design Wins) to sales management.
  • All other duties as requested by supervisor or department head.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical competency.
  • 7-10 years sales experience in the networking/computer industry and/or security products and managing regional channels.
  • Experience developing sales opportunities, preparing proposals and closing complex opportunities.
  • Must have a commitment to customer service and the motivation to work with limited supervision are important position traits.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously, self-motivated and a strong team builder.
  • A strong presenter and closer, and the ability to travel.
  • Advanced negotiation skills when interfacing with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy and be willing to adapt, as necessary, to accommodate changes in industry and company direction.
  • Thorough understanding of Intel and Microsoft technology required.
  • Ability to follow all applicable Business Management System (BMS) processes.
  • Must be able to travel frequently in the Western Region
