Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: DoE Schedule: Monday – Friday 8 am-4:30pm or 8:30-5pm
Job Overview: The Technical Customer Support/Electronic Technical Support team is known for its exceptional customer service track record; their Electronics Technicians play a huge role in strengthening customer relationships through answering customer questions, repairing their product, identifying trends, and providing feedback to the Engineering group. This role is responsible for processing returned product and performing system diagnosis and repair, telephone support, and troubleshooting for escalated customer support issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintaining excellent customer service.
Troubleshooting over the phone with customers to determine a problem/solution.
Maintaining the company's 7 business-day turn around goal for most repairs by quickly diagnosing equipment problems, repairing and completing transactions in a fast and efficient manner.
Entering repair information in our database to include parts used, labor codes and troubleshooting information, etc.
Entering parts exchange orders, accessories orders and other sales orders as needed when working with customers and sales department.
Entering call log and customer information within database system.
Communicating problems and issues to CSD Supervisor and CSD engineer.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Associates degree or Technical certificate / extensive prior experience may be considered in place of a degree
Experience in assisting the customers over the phone (troubleshoot, creating purchase orders, RAM’s)
Knowledge of hands-on electronics repair
Knowledge of RF, analog, and digital circuitry (desired but not required)
Knowledge of soldering techniques
Ability to quickly determine or analyze problem(s) and communicate to customers
Customer care skills, including the ability to diffuse a difficult customer situation
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
