A well-established Third-Party Logistics (3PL) company in South River, NJ is looking for an organized and customer-focused Account Specialist. In this role, you will support day-to-day order processing, customer communication, and issue resolution to ensure smooth account management and high service quality.
Long-Term Contract Pay Rate: DoE Schedule: 8 AM – 4:30 PM (Flexible start time: 8:00, 8:30, or 9:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities:
Process customer orders and enter accurate data into internal systems
Communicate with customers and vendors via phone, email, and occasionally in person
Acknowledge and confirm orders, provide shipping timelines, and handle invoice processing
Address customer inquiries and product/service concerns in a timely and professional manner
Resolve issues or complaints with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational success
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Previous experience in a logistics, warehouse, or 3PL setting is preferred
Previous experience in order processing and customer service
Strong customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Effective follow-up skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Accurate data entry and organizational abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), email, and general computer use
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment
Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
